NWPL:WE MUST BOUNCE BACK GREATER FOR SECOND ROUND....EHIABOR CEO DELTA QUEENS

Ahead of the start of the second round of the 2018/2019 of the Nigeria Women Premier league, Delta Queen Fc Cheif Executive Officer, Henrrientta Ehiabor has Charged the Delta Queens Players and technical team to step up to the challenge of returning to the group lead position.

Though still mentaining an Unbeaten run in the Nigeria Women Premier league this season,  Delta Queens FC suffered a set back with a 1-1 draw against Visiting FC Robo of Lagos as a 65th minute strike from FC Robo Monday Gift cancelled a 37th minute Spot kick from Maryann Ezeanagu and made the OKOWA babes share points with the visitors in their last game falling behind rivals Rivers Angels.

Following the set back with the home draw in match day three, the Delta Queens CEO Henrrientta Ehiabor said the result is in the past and will stay there as the team works for better gains Which she noted can only come with more Dedication in future.

"It was a heart breaking home encounter that saw us drop point at home and lost leadership of the group. "

"It's a difficult one because just one team must qualify from each group. But this is when the girls and the team in general will stand up to the task and we are working seriously on that"

"We have resumed training and all departments of the team have the focus to win, we are bouncing back with greater with better mentality, tactics and approach for the second phase of the league."

The CEO Henrrientta Ehiabor  stressed in a post training interview.

Delta Queens FC will next square up in a back to back away encounters against FC Robo and Rivers Angels beginning with the Lagos side on the 28th of August.
