ASABA) The Management of the Delta State Female football team, Delta Queens FC  has joined the rest of the world to Condole with the family of former Falcons star late Ifeanyi Stephanie Chiejine .

The Management of the Delta Female football side, through Posts on its facebook fan page and Twitter hangles, said the news of Chiejine's death, was a rude shock to not just Nigerians but the world as a whole as it adding that its a big loss to Nigerian Football.

It says Chiejine's antecedents as a humble and talented player no doubt, earned her regular call ups and play times both as a player with the. home sides she played for in the Nigeria Women Premier League, Super Falconets, and Falcons where she earned first team call ups to international tournaments.

Delta Queens Fc, condoles with the family of the late Super Falcons star and prayed that God in his own way would grant her family the Chiejine family the heart to bear the pains associated with what the team termed a colossial loss.

The Management of Delta Queens also particularly condole with the Nigerian sides she played for  including The Flying Babes FC, Pelican Stars, FCT Queens, Confluence Queens and Bayelsa Queens.

She will be greatly missed.

FEDERATIONS CUP:DELTA QUEENS CRUSH BAYELSA 3-1, QUALIFIES FOR SEMI FINALS

OWERRI)The Delta State representatives in the Female Federations Cup on Sunday came from a goal down to knock out defending champions Bayelsa Queens 3-1 in a fierce and tention soaked quarter finals encounter. The Delta FA defending champion went down one nil in the 3rd minute of play courtesy of a free kick strike from one time Delta Queens Player Shaeed Adebisi . The early lead gave the Bayelsa Queens an edge over the Okowa babe who battled from behind for the rest of the first half.
